Micro feather hair is the type of extension; The Illusion Knot Method℠ is the technique, as Freida performs it from her private studio in Stockton, California, with more than 30 years of experience in cosmetology and braiding.

An Upgrade to the Brazilian Knot

The technique pairs micro K tip placement with a hand tied knot built as an upgrade to the Brazilian knot. It is not the Brazilian knot itself. Every micro feather piece is placed on a small section of your natural hair, the attachment is built first, and the thread is tied only at the base to lock it. No braids, no beads, no glue, no heat and no tension. The base is invisible, the hair moves like your own, and your scalp stays fully accessible for care.
